The Amazing Spider-Man is back - and , as always, this Marvel superhero is more than ready and willing to battle the everyday villains to keep everyone safe. Don’t miss the release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro on the IMAX® 3D screen at Ster-Kinekor’s popular cinema complex at Gateway, from Friday, 25 April. Following the success of The Amazing Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield returns in the lead role in this action-packed sequel.

We have always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the daily struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. However, in The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro, Peter Parker discovers that a far greater conflict than even he could anticipate, lies ahead.

It’s great being Spider-Man (Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone).  But being Spider-Man also comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. 

With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. When his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realise that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

This adventurous sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man will have you ducking and diving in the cinema as the action of The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro plays out on the powerful IMAX® 3D screen.
