TINKER BELL AND HER FRIENDS JOIN FORCES WITH STER-KINEKOR TO BATTLE THE PIRATES
“Help save the Blue Pixie Dust…”

With another public holiday and the schools closed for this week, we know you’ll be happy to know we have just the thing to keep the young ones entertained! The delightful Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy releases nationally at Ster-Kinekor cinemas on Thursday, 01 May and, in order to get the job done, the country’s leading cinema chain is making the release of the movie even more fun for the children at select sites. The animated movie, Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy, will also release in 3D at select sites.

Take the children down to one of the participating Ster-Kinekor cinemas and let them get busy with all sorts of fun and games. There will be activity sheets to complete and interactive games to play, with wonderful prizes on offer from Ster-Kinekor.  The kids are also encouraged to dress up as their favourite fairy or a pirate, and some of them will receive great prizes for their efforts!

The cinema activations take place on Thursday, 01 May from 09:30 to 14:30 at the following Ster-Kinekor cinemas: Shelly Beach on the KZN South Coast and Gateway in Durban; The Zone, Cradlestone, Cresta and Eastgate in Johannesburg; The Grove in Pretoria and Blue Route in Cape Town. Kids can also enjoy the fun at Ster-Kinekor Cavendish in Cape Town from 11:00 to 14:00. Get there early, participate in the fun and then book your tickets to watch Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy.

In the film, a misunderstood dust-keeper fairy named Zarina steals Pixie Hollow's all-important Blue Pixie Dust, and flies away to join forces with the pirates of Skull Rock. Tinker Bell and her fairy friends must embark on the adventure of a lifetime to return the magical dust to its rightful place.

However, in the midst of their pursuit of Zarina, Tink's world is turned upside down. She and her friends find that their respective talents have been switched and they have to race against time to retrieve the Blue Pixie Dust and return home to save Pixie Hollow.
